My name is Mackenzie Clark, and I'm a third year Trent University student majoring in psychology. This is my first year volunteering with the team, and I can say it was one of the best decisions that I've ever made. I've made many new friends amongst the players, families and coaches, who've welcomed me from the very beginning and gave me a chance to get to know each and every one of them both on and off the ice. My favourite part about volunteering for this amazing team is being able to see the players have their moments on the ice and working with them to make sure that they feel as though they have a place amongst the team. Being a part of this team has been a very eye opening experience and I have learned a lot from the players. I've learned that being unique and embracing oneself no matter what is the most important quality to have, and that with hard work and perseverance, anything is possible to accomplish. I'm so proud to know the amazing men and women who are a part of this team and I'm so excited to see what the future has in store for us!
